Manishe Jaiin

I am M J. I have painted on canvases, paper, wood, marble, glass, wax and even skin. I have spent my life mixing colors in pursuit of finding new hues to cover the mundane. To find movement in the still dried paint and to capture moments that can narrate their own story. In my years of holding the paintbrush, I have found expression in resin, minerals, crystals, timber and metals and use these elements to tell stories, both mine and yours that leave lasting emotion and question. I believe in singularity and apply it in my art. Keeping form and function at equilibrium, I create pieces that assist and amuse.
